Hello! I am Rachel, owner and lead photographer of RNS. I started this company ten years ago with a simple passion for being behind a camera. As a University of Minnesota gymnast myself, I had a love for sports and movement portraiture and began photographing my alma mater's gymnastics team at practices and competitions. As my comfort behind the camera grew, so did my clientele, and slowly but surely we turned this passion into a booming career I am still so in love with. 

My favorite part about what I do is not the beautiful photos we create, or even the incredible places it takes me... but the people it allows me to meet. I have traveled the nation meeting and shooting with a wide range of talents and skills and come to love the opportunity I have to bring each person's hard work and dedication alive through an image. The pure joy I see in an athlete's face when we work hard to get that perfect shot is simply uneatable. I love every single person who has ever been behind my lens, and feel it in return as first time clients continuously become consistent clients. I can't begin to express my gratitude for YOU. 

I currently live in West Michigan, with frequent stops to Minnesota, Florida, and the Carolinas. My husband, son, and two pups are my world. I travel often with the non-furry members of my family, and we would love to add your home state to our stop list next.
